We saw many spy in movies but Ajit Doval is the real spy of India. Currently he is serving as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s National Security Adviser since 30 May 2014. He is the fifth National Security Adviser If BJP was in power after 2009 general election, Doval may be appointed as National Security Adviser under L.K. Adwani since 2009.

Doval was born on 20th January, 1945 in a Garhwali family in the village of Ghiri Banelsyun, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand (That time Uttar Pradesh). His early education completed in Ajmer and he did his graduation and master degree in Economics from the University of Agra in 1967, obtaining the first position. He was an IPS officer from 1968 batch of the Kerala cadre. He worked in Pakistan for 7 years. He is a former Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) of India. He is a recipient of the Kirti Chakra, one of the highest military gallantry awards, the President’s Police Medal for distinguished service, and the Indian Police Medal for meritorious service. Doval was the youngest police officer ever to get the Police Medal .He takes on national and global security issues ranging from counter- terrorism to India’s strategic challenges.

He was the man behind the success of Operation Blue Star. Doval set the way for state elections in Jammu and Kashmir in 1996. Later, he also served the Indian High Commission in London, UK as a Minister. In 1999, when Indian Airlines flight IC-814 hijacked in Kandahar, Doval was India’s main negotiator with the hijackers. In June 2014, Doval played a crucial role in ensuring secure return of 46 Indian nurses who were trapped in a hospital in Tikrit, Iraq. After the family members lost all contacts from these nurses, following the capture of Mosul by ISIS. Doval, on a top secret mission flew to Iraq on 25 June 2014 to understand the position on the ground and make high-level contacts in the Iraqi government

Doval, cracked down on a suspected case of corporate espionage in Oil Ministry. His eyes on this case over three four month and finally he cracked down.
